Donations / Awards

Women’s Links Education Fund

- This fund, established in 2005, has been designed to support single mother(s) from the West Island with their opportunities for the future, by assisting with the cost of their post-secondary education.

Bursary Selection & Recognition – Applicants for this bursary must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants. The recipients shall be enrolled in a post-secondary academic program in one of the following three schools John Abbott College, Cégep Gérald Godin, or McGill University, Macdonald Campus. The bursary is not meant to exclusively award academic merit or excellence. It is designed to assist a single mother who is engaged and committed to pursuing higher education, but who may have financial difficulties or other challenges.

To date we have given over $17,000 in financial aid to single West Island mothers who are attending either John Abbott College or Cegep Gerald-Godin.
